Larry Emond

Larry Emond serves several roles for Gallup and is a member of the company's Executive Committee.

As the firm's Managing Partner for Asia, the Middle East, and the Western United States, Emond leads Gallup's consulting and business development in Gallup's offices in Australia, China, India, Singapore, New Zealand, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates, and in Gallup's California offices in the United States. He oversees the development and delivery of client work and supports Gallup consultants throughout these regions.

As Chief Marketing Officer, Emond directs Gallup's marketing strategy and communications. He overseees the development of Gallup's broad range of consulting, measurement, and training services worldwide.

Emond also serves as Executive Publisher of Gallup Press, which publishes books and the Gallup Management Journal. Under his leadership, Gallup has published groundbreaking management books, including the bestsellers Wellbeing: The Five Essential Elements; Strengths Based Leadership; StrengthsFinder 2.0; 12: The Elements of Great Managing; How Full Is Your Bucket?; First, Break All the Rules; and Now, Discover Your Strengths. The most recent offerings from Gallup Press include Breaking the Fear Barrier and The Coming Jobs War.

Emond began his career at Gallup in 1992 in the Tokyo office. He received his bachelor's degree in international commerce, Asian studies, and Japanese language from San Diego State University. He is based in Gallup's Irvine, California, office.
