Douglas Berlon is Global Practice Leader, Financial Services with Gallup. He provides consulting expertise and industry experience to Gallup's clients and partners. Berlon also supports educational opportunities on major issues and trends in the financial services industry and strategizes options to maximize behavioral economics.
Since joining Gallup, Berlon has worked with clients in the financial services industry. He serves as a spokesperson for Gallup's financial services practice area for media and other requests.
Prior to joining Gallup in January 2008, Berlon spent 19 years in various leadership roles in the financial services industry, mostly with a top 10 financial institution. His contributions ranged from retail and sales management to operational, process improvement, and consulting work, serving most recently as executive vice president, chief marketing officer, and retail segment manager for a regional bank with more than 340 offices across the country.
He is a member of the American Marketing Association, is a Green Belt in Six Sigma, and has been a panel leader or speaker at several banking conferences. Berlon earned his bachelor's degree in finance and management from the University of Cincinnati.
